I know those 4 at the top are going to break through soo they've been so close in the past. The more experienced they become they will win those close ones.

There were many who broke through last year but Kim, Villegas, and Immelman really proved they can play.

Obviously, the two time major winner last year, fedex cup champion, and sergio who came in second in many tourneys and moved to 2nd in the OWGR.

Tiger's back and defending his title

How did i know that he would come back defending his title. A world golf championship. How many of those has he won again. Enough to predict that this was when he would come back. So here he is, stronger and ready to defend his title. So how will he do, how do you expect him to do? He won the US Open on one leg. I think he'll do pretty well. But, there are others who might want to stop him in his tracks. Let's look at my power rankings (besides Tiger)

  1. Steve Stricker- almost one this week and has played well in this before. He hasn't won in over a year and would love to have a victory here.
  2. Phil Mickelson- won last week, though he hasn't had the best track record here, he showed signs of life during the Ryder Cup last fall.
  3. Sergio Garcia- should be hungry for a victory after he was denied multiple times last year, and is now #2 in the world, if he were to win this and Tiger not fare well (which is unlikely) he could still make a run to be #1
  4. Ian Poulter- he played incredibly well in this type of play in September, has been playing well as of late, and is hungry to get a win on US soil.
  5. Mike Weir- He has been playing great in 09, he hasn't had his best years the past few, and he would love to make it on the International team, and a great way to make and impression is stopping Tiger. Tiger and Weir could meet in the Third round.

The matches has started and now it's up to the players top decide their fate.
